GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Whitco is seeking Roof Technicians to join our Atlanta office.
Candidates must have a great attitude, be self-motivated, detail oriented and a team player. It is important that candidates are proactive in a fast-paced, dynamic, rapid-development environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Responsible for the procurement and accountability of materials and equipment required for all work orders from approved vendors.
- Understand workflow and job processes within the company.
- Must be trustworthy and able to work for periods unsupervised.
- Must demonstrate teamwork and willingness to get along with others.
- Must show a desire to learn, and be a self-starter.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION SKILLS
- Organizational, Analytical, Problem Solving and People Skills
- Commercial and Industrial roofing experience.
- Experience with: Single-Ply, Modified, BUR, Metal, Shingles, Tile, and Coatings.
- Able to lift and climb up & down ladders.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Valid driver’s license.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years relative experience in the commercial roofing industry
- Spanish a plus
