Whitcommand makes it easy to receive and monitor daily reports, project updates, and service calls.
One of the things that sets Whitco apart is the company’s commitment to going above and beyond the roofing industry norms. Whitco carries a $10 million excess umbrella insurance policy on top of other multi-million dollar policies to cover emergencies, damage, and injury — well beyond what’s required by law and the highest in the industry. Whitco strives to achieve the highest levels of safety on all projects, and requires employees at all levels to diligently execute the company’s policy of maintaining safety and occupational health. Whitco’s safety program has been developed to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, with an emphasis on the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (OSHA), and the OSHA requirements that apply to Whitco’s construction operations. At Whitco, a detailed safety and accident prevention program is created and implemented on all projects, regardless of size.
Some of the features of Whitco’s comprehensive program include:
- Pre-job analysis of the plans, specifications and job site conditions to determine potential safety risks which could develop during the project.
- On all projects, Superintendents hold daily and biweekly safety meetings with key supervisory personnel.
- The Superintendent/Site Safety Director makes regular safety and housekeeping inspections of the project, correcting unsafe practices as needed.
- Individual Foremen make daily safety inspections of operations under their supervision.
