Grant B. Whitney
Chief Executive Officer
Since founding Whitco Roofing, Inc., Grant has made it a priority to redefine what customers expect from a commercial roofing firm. Over the past decade, Grant has grown the organization from a regional commercial roofing company into an award-winning national firm dedicated to unrivaled workmanship and unparalleled customer service. Prior to founding Whitco Roofing, Inc., Grant served as a commercial roof consultant. It was during his time as a consultant that Grant realized the need for a more professional commercial roofing firm.
Grant serves on several executive advisory boards and is involved with numerous non-profit organizations. Grant is an active member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO). He and his wife currently reside in Atlanta with their four children.
Blake L. Whitney
Executive Vice President
Blake oversees Whitco Roofing, Inc.’s sales division and also manages the company’s overall marketing strategy. Blake, who has worked in the commercial roofing industry for more than a decade, has business degrees from Georgia Military College and Richards College of Business at the University of West Georgia. Prior to joining Whitco, Blake held various sales and management positions and is a former small-business owner.
Blake is an avid fisherman, NCAA football fanatic, and enjoys spending time with his family.
T. Alston Padgett
Chief Financial Officer
Alston manages the accounting and finance departments for Whitco Roofing, Inc. Prior to joining Whitco, Alston spent many years in tax and audit for a public accounting firm before transitioning to be the controller of a privately held business based in Atlanta. Alston provides oversight in all matters related to finance and accounting, including budgeting, cash flow analysis and profit and loss.
Alston, an Atlanta native, is a graduate of The Westminster Schools, and he graduated from Auburn University with a degree in accounting.
Chad Lankford
Chief Operating Officer
Chad began his career in the commercial roofing industry in 2012 and has collaborated with numerous Fortune 100 companies on large-scale roof replacements and extensive repair projects. He advanced from a laborer to a technical inspector, then to a sales executive, and now serves as the Chief Operations Officer for Whitco Roofing. Since joining Whitco, Chad has managed projects for many of the company’s national accounts across North America.
In his free time, Chad enjoys hunting, fishing, and playing golf.
Rosio Herrera
Executive Assistant
Rosio joined Whitco Roofing in 2019 and has since become a fundamental asset for our team. She began as a project coordinator assisting in large projects nationwide and has grown accustomed to multitasking and ensuring the quality of all Whitco has to offer. With a sensational customer service background, Rosio meets all clients with elegance that has created long lasting relationships.
On her free time, she enjoys spending time with her beloved friends and family
James D. Furmanek
Director of Estimating
James has worked in the commercial roofing industry for 35 years. During that time, he has worked in virtually every position, from entry-level laborer as a teenager, to running branch offices later in his career. James’ extensive roofing knowledge, attention to detail and knack for numbers make him an essential member of Whitco Roofing, Inc.’s estimating department.
James, a Georgia native, enjoys travel during his time off.
Jose Grande
Director of Operations
Jose Grande started his carrier in commercial and industrial roofing as a laborer and has more than 15 years of roofing experience. He joined Whitco Roofing, Inc. in 2016 as a field superintendent on some of the hardest projects, like Atlanta Journal Constitution, Anheuser-Busch , Propex, Pershing Point Plaza, Lonza and many more. Jose is a great asset to the growth of Whitco, with an amazing work ethic and a team player attitude.
In his free time, Jose enjoys spending time traveling with his family, fishing, and horseback riding.
R. Keith Jones
Project Manager
Keith has been in the commercial roofing industry since 1984. From small to massive jobs across the U.S., his 36 years of experience provides extensive knowledge and skills in general roofing, fabrication and installation of various sheet metal components, and project management. Keith strives to maintain excellent communication with Whitco Roofing’s clients and a positive, productive work environment.
In his free time, Keith enjoys outdoor cooking, fishing and golf.
Adriana Beckner
Managing Director, Florida Division
Starting her Whitco journey as a project manager at our corporate office in Atlanta, GA, Adriana has been promoted to the Orlando Office as Managing Director, Florida Division. Her 20+ years of experience in various facets of the construction industry, paired with her exceptional customer service skills and dedication, position her as an exceptional leader. She’s managed small to large scale new roof and re-roof projects across the southeast.
Adriana enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and relaxing on the beach.
Jovany Alvarez
Project Manager
Jovany has worked in commercial roofing for 10 years. His diverse experience has allowed him to continuously advance his career. He started as a laborer working on a crew with his father and has since worked his way up to a roofer, a production foreman, and now a project manager.
In his free time, Jovany enjoys watching sports, exploring downtown Atlanta and its many events and restaurants, and traveling the world.
Memo Encarnacion
Service Manager
With over 12 years of roofing experience starting as a laborer, Memo brings a wealth of expertise to his role as Service Manager. Memo oversees and directs small/large scale projects nationwide. He understands the importance of safe productivity, timely execution, and cost-effective service for ultimate client satisfaction.
In his free time, Memo enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.
James Wiley
Senior Account Executive
James, an Atlanta, GA native and a graduate of The Lovett School, began working in the commercial roofing industry in 2012. He has been a part of the Whitco Roofing family since 2016, beginning as an Account Executive, and then promoted to Senior Account Executive. James specializes in servicing Whitco’s national accounts and assisting numerous prominent commercial real estate firms across North America with their roofing needs.
James also graduated from the University of North Georgia with a degree in Business Management. In his free time, James enjoys watching sports, playing golf, coaching baseball at Buckhead Baseball, and spending time with his beautiful wife, Sarah.
